That’s why we created RISE, an industry-driven studio experience that connects students with real-world projects in games, animation, and VFX. Through immersive bootcamps, students take on live briefs, working in small teams to hone technical expertise, master teamwork, and develop employability skills.

A hands-on learning journey from Campus to Career

Designed for industry success

The NextGen RISE platform was created in collaboration with Tom Box, Co-Founder of the multi-award-winning Blue Zoo Animation Studio, to replicate and teach professional tools, workflows, and build professional confidence.  

You can choose from a selection of industry written briefs across Games, Animation and VFX which can be adapted to support your curricula, or NextGen will design a bespoke one for your students.

Real studio experience

Students work in small teams, replicating a micro-creative studio, with expert tuition, career coaching, and industry feedback throughout the experience. This expert guidance helps students refine their work to professional standards.

All RISE bootcamps are designed to replicate the real-world creative studio experience. Essential employability skills, teamwork, adaptability, and communication are built into every project.
